Preparation helps.
Official review still matters.

Version 1.1 · effective July 30, 2026.

1. What roe.help is

roe.help is an independent information and document-preparation service operated by Baldwin Industries. It is not Service Canada, the Government of Canada, a law firm or an accounting firm.

2. Authority and responsibility

Enter or import employee information only when authorized. You remain responsible for source payroll records, the complete final ROE, filing deadlines, authorization and the official filing in ROE Web.

3. Government validation

roe.help checks are assistance, not acceptance or certification. ROE Web performs the final official validation. A downloaded file is not proof that an ROE was filed.

4. Employee guidance

Employee pages provide general information and official links. They do not create an ROE, decide Employment Insurance eligibility, calculate an official benefit or compel an employer to act.

5. Prohibited use

Do not access another person’s records without authority, create false employment information, evade an obligation, upload malicious content, probe the service or impersonate the Government of Canada.

6. Availability and recovery

Features may change when official systems or published rules change. Optional encrypted device storage and portable project files are recovery aids, not a records-retention system. Keep your source payroll records.

7. No warranties

The service is provided on an “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by law, Baldwin Industries disclaims implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and uninterrupted or error-free operation.

8. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Baldwin Industries is not responsible for indirect, special or consequential loss from missed deadlines, inaccurate source data, government decisions, rejected files, lost local files or unauthorized handling of payroll information.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the applicable laws of Canada, without limiting mandatory rights that apply where you live.

By continuing to use roe.help, you accept these terms and the privacy notice.
